About Angelique Geehan

A Master Babywearing Educator (MBE) for Babywearing International of Greater Houston (BWIGH), Angelique helped found the chapter to expand the free services available to families seeking to carry their children close. She works with families, community groups, babywearing educators, health care and birth professionals, and retail and manufacturer staff. She is a licensed teacher for the Babywearing Institute and a member of the Baby Carrier Industry Alliance. Angelique is a mother of two living in the Woodland Heights. She enjoys capoeira, attempts to play caixa with Batala Houston, finds photos for InCultureParent magazine, hangs out with Houston Unschooling Kids, is proud of her colleagues at Index Strategy Advisors, and is a confirmed sensation-seeker. Please do not sell her any more of your beautiful, comfortable baby carriers.

Headbands for all

Supporting our chapter and keeping your hair out of your face at the same time has never been easier. Navy and white Wrapsody headbands with the Babywearing Intenational logo figures will be sold at our meetings for $10 each.

Close-up photo of three fabric headbands. Left to right, they are orange with white figures, dark blue with white figures, and white with orange figures. The figures are the four simplified humans with baby carriers, part of the logo for Babywearing International.

If you would like to purchase some and have them mailed to you, please contact us at info @ bwihouston.com.

These are similar to the orange and white headbands our educators and volunteers sometimes wear.

Cotton gauze wraps have arrived!

Each of BWI of Greater Houston’s four lending libraries will be getting one of these Wrapsody Breezes that have just come in. The colorway, Laguna, is an exclusive colorway for Babywearing International and has vivid lengthwise stripes that can help wrappers work with the fabric to customize tension more easily.

Come join a meeting to try out these carriers, and join as a member to borrow one!
